We've had two consecutive days in the upper 80s which can only mean one thing, spring has sprung! Therefore, my lust list has altered slightly, making room for bright colors and easy to wear pieces. While the "wish list worthy" series that I've been doing a lot recently are items I feel y'all might like (because I do, too!), the "lust list" are things that I, in particular, absolutely positively love. And frankly, all of these are screaming my name.

Lots of fun new arrivals landing at J. Crew right now.  Here are a few that caught my eye.  These are great transition pieces to get you through that kind-of-warm, kind-of-cold time of year that always leaves me hating my closet.  You've got to check out that last necklace.  It quite possibly could be my new favorite thing.

How beautiful are these jules smith drop earrings?  Turquoise is my absolute favorite stone color for jewelry.  Just brightens up the skin and looks great with almost any clothing color... like this bec & bridge isis angle dress, for example.  Keeping with the spring trent, these TKEES foundations flip flops are totally on my radar.  I love a good neutral flop to wear almost daily.  

Brandon and I ate at Wren last weekend and I had this Meiomi Pinot Noir.  It's all kinds of fantastic.  So velvety and smooth.  If you're into pinot noir, you've got to pick up a bottle.  It's my current obsession.

Not much to say about these joie jaclyn ankle strap sandals other than they're gorgeous and would be a closet staple all spring, summer, and fall.  As for this adia kibur link necklace, it's much like one that I own and wear all the time.  A chunky chain will go with anything.  And because it's technically still winter, I'm loving this essie vested interest nail polish because it's the perfect transition color to get you into the warmer months.  What are you loving this week?

I shared a Valentine's Day gift guide last week, but here are the things that I've been eyeing...

You've got to admit, the pom pom throw is all kinds of fantastic.

My favorite denim shirt is made by Banana Republic and this light wash version is a must for spring.  As in, already in my cart.

I've turned my cheek for so long, but these Valentino Rockstud Pumps are too beautiful to ignore.

Nars Lipstick in "Heatwave" is pretty much the perfect lipstick, so why wouldn't it be on the lust list?  That color would work all throughout the year, but I get most excited about imagining it in the summer with a little tan. 

I'm loving petite watches again.  This Michael Kors might resemble a particular cousin (third cousin, twice removed?) that rhymes with smolex ...and I don't hate it.

Vince Long Sleeve Crew Tee

This top is worth every penny.  It's longer in the back and has a very relaxed fit, while retaining a slim silhouette (hard to find a tee like this!).  I'm in love and need it in many colors to wear all throughout the year with shorts or jeans.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Lip Balm

Matte lips are supposed to be big this spring/summer.  These balms have the matte look, but are creamy and don't dry my lips out thanks to the Shea, Mango, and Coconut Butters in them.  Long-lasting, too!  I love the shade range.

Josie Maran Argan Oil

Never would have thought to put oil on my already combination skin.  I've already got plenty of oil on my t-zone and don't need more.  But this was a huge misconception and this stuff has helped balance my skin like crazy.  It has replaced my nighttime moisturizer.  (Did you read my post on this stuff a couple months ago?  This little bottle packs a huge punch.)

Wink & Winn

I was recently introduced to Wink & Winn and have been obsessed with their whole concept of designing your own bag.  I have the 3-in-1 Crossbody Bag (worn in my Saturday night outfit I posted on Monday) and enjoy it's versatility and fine quality.  You can choose which types/color of leather are used, as well as the color of hardware.  Win in my book!

Jimmy Choo Nova Patent Pumps

My wedding shoes were this exact style (different color) and I have been dreaming about owning the nude ones.  I was able to keep these pumps on my feet during our entire wedding reception and let's just say I never left the dance floor.  They were so comfortable and offered great support.  And gosh, they're pretty.  I tried on the nude ones and they match my skin tone so well.  A must for upcoming weddings this year.  I would get so much wear out of them.

J. Crew Fluted Skirt

The. Perfect. Skirt.  I wear mine way too often and highly recommend.  It's taking me right through winter and I know I'll continue to wear it when the weather gets warm.

After the holidays have passed, there's one and one thing only on my mind... warm weather.  I appreciate each season, but can't help but wish for lazy summer days spent on the beach.  Stores are debuting their spring pieces and it's just leaving me wishing more and more for an island getaway.  If you had each of these items below packed in your suitcase for a tropical vacation, where would you want to go? I absolutely adored St. Lucia, but am dying to see the Virgin Islands, St. Barths, and Hawaii. Heck, I'd gladly settle for Florida at this point. Just get me somewhere warm, but not without these clothes.

This outfit is perfect for any girl with a purpose.  I'm telling you these jeans are the best I've ever tried.  Dress it down with booties or flats for a long day on the go.  Then, just pop on some heels and red lipstick, then you're all set for drinks with the girls.  I swear this is my uniform.  So versatile and effortless, yet pulled together.

I stepped into World Market the other day and, within a few minutes, truly could have stepped out of there with a truck load of goods.  The white dipped wooden serveware really wanted me to buy it.   It was practically screaming my name.  And when I started to walk away from it, I then spilled someone else's drink all over the table display that the serveware was on.  That was it's way of getting back at me.  Maybe I'll return for it.  So nothing else bad happens, of course.  Oh well, here are some of my favorites.

I did, however, buy these delicious dutch caramel wafers simply because Yolanda had them on Real Housewives.  And because they came in a cute tin.

Happy Friday!  This has been the longest work week I've ever had where I had a mini weekend in the middle of it.  Strange how that works.

The holiday season is among us!  Christmas parties are right around the corner and I can't help but put together the perfect outfits in my head.  Here are some beautiful options.  Pair with tights and a long peacoat, sparkly jewels, and you're all set!

sephora VIB 20% off

Today marks the first day of Sephora's VIB sale, where they are offering 20% off with code VIBTOPIA (Five days only! Today through November 11th.).  This sale only happens once a year, so take advantage, my friends!  Gotta say, this is one sale that always leaves me giddy.  I thought I'd share the items in my cart, plus a few other things that have caught my eye!

The Guy Bourdin for Nars palette is such a steal.  If you don't own any Nars blushes, or are looking to stock up on more, this is a great time to do it.  They are awesome.  Each one of these blushes is only the slightest bit smaller than if you were to buy them individually.  The kicker is that this palette is $65 for SIX blushes.  They are normally $29 EACH!

Speaking of a lot of bang for your buck, the Sephora Favorites Super Stars kit features 12 of Sephora's best selling items... and many of them are full size!  This is a $280 value for only $75.

To some, this might seem completely like a waste of money.  However, when I heard Isabelle Bellis advise that you should spray your face with a mineral water after washing your face, I started doing just that.  The Evian Mineral Spray seems to be the best reviewed for the best price.  Also, it's so refreshing to use as a mid-day pick me up!

Dior makes some of the prettiest eye shadows -so silky and pigmented.  This palette would be gorgeous on anyone, but especially someone with hazel or brown eyes.

Brandon almost wrecked the car when I told him my favorite lip balm was $22.  Guys just don't understand these things.  Truthfully, I didn't either until I owned this Sugar Lip Treatment.  I limit myself to using it just at night, but it really has put my lips in such better condition that I really only need to use it then (coming from someone who used to apply chapstick every couple of hours!).  This stuff is packed with vitamins and SPF, so it's sure to make your lips smooth and hydrated, while keeping them protected from wrinkle causing radicals.

If you don't own a Clarisonic, please do your skin a favor and get one while you can save $25+ on it.  I used to use mine morning and night, but found that my skin likes it best when I only use it two or three times a week.  Plus, it allows the brush heads to last WAY longer.  Every person's skin is different in terms of how often you can tolerate it, but I do feel 100% confident that every person's skin would benefit from this in some way.  It cleans your face SIX times better than washing your hands traditionally.  Plus, it helps to smooth your skin & blur imperfections.  It definitely proves they are good when every aesthetician I've ever been to has used this during my facial.  I wouldn't fuss with the special edition ones or the $200+ Clarisonics.  I own the least expensive one, the Mia, and it is awesome.

I am so intrigued by this skincare trio by Chanel.  These three are to be used on different days throughout the week to completely rebalance and brighten the skin.

To be used on the weekdays under your moisturizer, Le Jour contains salicylic acid and helps tighten pores and even the skintone.

Also to be used on the weekdays -alternate as needed-, Le Nuit contains hyaluronic acid and helps calm the skin, in addition to making it appear more plump and less dull.

Once the weekend hits, Le Weekend is the product to use in place of your serum and moisturizer.  It contains glycolic acid and rose water, which together enhance skin renewal and make it more luminous for the week ahead. 

I'm especially loving our Christmas cards that just came in!  I used Minted for our Save the Dates & was so impressed with the service and quality, it was a no brainer to use them for our Christmas cards, too. What stands out about them is the thickness of their paper.  Here is a photo comparing 50 Minted cards vs. 50 cards from the competition.

Not to mention, I'm pretty smitten with the design.

Also on the lust list is this gorgeous chest from Pier One.  Only $399, y'all. (or, get crafty and do a genious DIY project like this one.)

Upon first glance, it immediately made me think of this gorgeous vignette.

Speaking of furniture, I currently have two major crushes on the design front.  

First, this dining table.

...and second, this coffee table, which is currently on sale, by the way.

I absolutely love this cable ring by David Yurman.  It's in the wedding band category, but I think it would look so classic on the right hand.  Considering DY's hefty price tags on his pieces, I really don't think $500 is too inflated for an 18kt gold ring.

Happy Halloween!  We went to our friends' home last night and had a small dinner/pumpkin carving party.  Brandon and I worked on the same pumpkin... ours is second from the left.  We thought it was a cat, but once it was lit, we decided it was a raccoon.

I did want to share a few items on the lust list this week.  First (also mentioned on Monday's post) are the AG Adriano Goldschmied Legging Jeans.  

These are just fantastic.  Comfortable and flattering.  They don't look like leggings at all, but feel like them.  I've heard a lot of hype about these and am so glad I tried them out.  It has been over a year since I've been able to find a pair of jeans that look and feel this good.

I tried a generous sample of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and was hooked.  It has won a lot of awards, like Instyle's "Best Beauty Buy," and I can see how.  It's glowy, but stays put, even on my oily/combo skin.  It gives a flawless coverage, but doesn't feel heavy.  The color range is great, so surely everyone should be able to find their perfect match.  At $60 a bottle, I can't find it feasible to use every day, especially for work when I prefer to slap on a tinted moisturizer, but this would be an amazing treat to use for special occasions.  Really makes your skin look perfect.

These Jeffrey Campbell Soltaire Pumps are calling my name.  I own the peep toe version of these in black and get compliments every time I wear them.  They are comfortable too... and best part: they are velcro.  That's my kind of shoe.

Lastly, this tote by Cuyana is beautiful.  It can be monogrammed, which would be absolutely necessary in my opinion.  I love how simple, yet chic it is.  I'm also loving Cuyana's philosophy that one should buy fewer, nicer things.  I couldn't agree more.

Kate Spade Claremont Tote // This is such a beautiful bag.  I held it in Gwynn's yesterday and did not want to let it go.  The color is gorgeous for all seasons and the shape is functional and classic.

Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Wardrobe for Cheeks & Eyes // This is a limited edition palette, so grab it while you can.  I swatched all of these colors today and they are all equally velvety and pigmented.  Especially the plum colors... amazing for brown and hazel eyes!  This includes eight eye shadows, a bronze highlighter, two blushes, a creme eye pencil, three tightline cake eyeliners and four travel makeup brushes.  Easy & portable.  Seriously, y'all... amazing.
