Hello September! (How in the world has this happened, by the way?) Hope y'all had a happy Labor Day weekend. Ours was spent doing a lot of relaxing, which was much appreciated.

I decided to get some fall transition ideas by online shopping in the Nordstrom's "via C" section. I often go straight to that part of the website because it's already curated for a stylish girl on the go. That way, I don't have to sift through pages and pages of pieces that don't fit my style aesthetic. Making the wardrobe change from summer into fall can be simple if you incorporate neutral tones and more textured pieces with the lighter fabrics you already have in your summer wardrobe. Or, do like I did and just add booties to a summery outfit.

I'm always drawn to navy and white striped tops. This one takes the cake in my closet because it has a beautiful opening in the back, adding lots of visual interest. I paired it with my favorite white shorts because yes, it's currently still 100 degrees here. They are incredibly comfortable, not too tight, not too loose, not too short, not too... you get it.  Once it cools down a little, I will pair this top with dark skinny jeans and a chic blazer for fall/winter. All together, this outfit is easy and effortless... my favorite kind.

A big thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.
