Rebate Offer, O-ku, Rainy Day

I'm sitting here at home feeling awfully guilty for skipping my Tuesday PiYo session at the gym.  Ugh, it's so hard to go to the gym on rainy days when you're already settled in at home!  I did a lot of walking around downtown today, so that's going to have to count as my workout today.

On another note,  to all of you SC, FL, GA, and TN readers that have a Publix in your area:
I found a great rebate offer for you!

(I'm kind of obsessed with Publix. Hello, they have free samples all the time, it's clean in there, the cashiers are so sweet, and they have tons of Buy One Get One Free offers)

So here it is.  If you buy $10.01 or more in vegetables or fruit PLUS a 12-pk of Michelob Ultra (until May 1, 2011), you can get a rebate for $10.

I don't buy beer, but if I did, I would totally do this!
Apparently, a 12-pk is on sale at Publix for $10.99 this week, so after the rebate, it's like getting a 12-pk of beer for 99 cents! That is assuming you were going to buy $10 worth of fruits and veggies anyway!

I saw this rebate on the I Love Publix Blog.  They have more information on the site, including the link you need to fill out the rebate, so be sure to visit it if you're interested.

Last night, Brandon and I went to O-ku for sushi.  Yes, we obviously eat there a lot, but we are creatures of habit.  That, and it's amazing & I'm addicted.  We decided that we'd do an O-ku date as soon as we tasted our gross sushi at Wasabi last Thursday night.  It's amazing how much better our meal was last night.

Brandon was embarrassed that I took a picture of him in the restaurant with a flash (oh my!), but I had to capture him with his cute, fruity drink.  Actually, he hardly touched it because it was a little too sweet for his liking.  Who knew a whisky drink would end up looking like that.  I can't vouch for how it tasted because I refuse to taste whisky ...but hey, it looked cute!

After dinner, we decide to get yogurt at 32 Degrees Yogurt Bar.
This is turning into a weekly ritual.
Gosh, I guess I shouldn't have skipped the gym tonight.

Mine had chocolate piled on top and Brandon had strawberries & raspberries.
He obviously doesn't have a sweet tooth like I do.

We took our yogurt with us as we strolled around on King Street.  We agreed that it is starting to feel like summer time because tourists are walking around downtown during the evening and are enjoying the nice weather.

....but that pretty weather didn't continue today.

Guess we need some rain every now and then.
