Marissa Webb + Banana Republic

It was announced in April that Marissa Webb, former head of women's wear design at J. Crew, would join Banana Republic as their new creative director. Since making that official, she has hit the ground running and has taken the brand from something that lingers around office-ready styles, to a fresh new aesthetic that is much more modern. She is making Banana Republic "street ready," and ...it's good.

First, let's talk about Marissa a little more. Her instagram is full of new deliciousness she's brought to the brand. She's been giving tons of sneak peeks of what's to come for Banana Republic.

And here are some of my favorite looks that she has brought to Banana Republic.

Marissa, you've saved BR. I definitely spy some pieces that will be making it in my closet this fall...

  2. Ahh - I'm on the same page as you. I was so excited when I read this news. I've been loving J.Crew's style turnaround these past few years and I can't wait for BR to do the same!
