weekly roundup

Hello, spring chickens! It's officially one of my favorite seasons. Truly, I love all four for their own reasons, but I've been more than eager to welcome spring this year. We've got a big, fun weekend in the works over in these parts. The Beaufort Twilight Run is happening in our neighborhood tomorrow and we've got some friends coming into town to join us. No, not taking part in the run - I am so not a runner, although I try. However, I'm always up for a fun street party and there will be a band, beer, and oysters - and we certainly will be enjoying those aspects of the run. In other news, here are this week's worthy links (it's been too long!):

I wonder if this stress-relieving technique really works.

Pretty pointed floral flats. (Go ahead... say that five times fast.)

Absolutely in love with this nail polish color. And the bottle - at least I can admit my weakness for pretty packaging.

Oooh, this quote.

Did you catch my post on The Everygirl this week?

Designers and their pets - the best ever!

Such a great guide to navigating french pharmacies. (Whenever the day comes that I venture to Paris, Citypharma will be first on my list.)

I'm always up for a new brussels recipe and this one seems like a must-try.

  1. The EFT does work!! I am in nursing school and was taught about it...we used it before tests and they actually saw an increase in grades. I also work in oncology at a major hospital in Charlotte and have watched this technique and the benefits it can bring. Clarity of the mind and a body at rest can really allow your body to heal( whether its from cancer, a cold, or just a stressful day)! Love the weekly roundup posts :)

  2. I'll have to try that Essie glaze bc their regular top coat does notttt work for me. My nails chip worse when I use it! So weird. Totally going to try that technique next time I'm anxious!
