weekend

Hello, friends.  Thanks to Dr. King, I've got this fine day off and am relaxing at home.  As I'm posting these pictures, I'm reminded how great our weekend was.  We were able to spend a lot of time exploring our new corner of the state.  Even though we're from Beaufort, it's been a long time since we've ventured over to Savannah and into Hilton Head.  This weekend we were able to do just that and marked a few favorite places that we'll definitely be visiting again soon.

We enjoyed dinner at Jazz'd on Friday night.  It's a great little tapas bar in Savannah.  A few of you told me on instagram that you've been there before.  Any other Savannah recommendations?  We sampled a lot of items and I loved everything, especially the blackened tuna.
We shopped around in Savannah on Saturday and spent a good bit of time perusing the little shops in the city market.  We are going back next weekend, too!

I admired this dress at Anthropologie.  Throw on a moto jacket and booties, boom - you've got a date night outfit.  Pair it with tights and flat boots (30% off!), boom - you've got a work outfit.  Wear it with a blazer and heels, boom - you've got an outfit you can wear to church or a luncheon.  Ahh, this is what I need in my life... versatility galore.  And I'm loving this dress with this necklace.

This candle is so amazing.  I kept walking away, then walking back to smell it and I felt like I was cheating on my Nest Bamboo candle, but I couldn't help it.  It smells like orchid, white lilly, and spring moss.  Smells so clean, yet so warm and inviting.
I bought this Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick in "Liaison" and am obsessed.
This is us.
...and this is all I have to show for Sunday.  An after church brunch at Boathouse on Hilton Head.  Worth every last calorie.

Also a wonderful sushi restaurant on the island about 15 minutes from Savannah (if you want the name let me know)!! Sounds like you had a great weekend!

    1. Hi Letra! Yes, I would recommend Dockside (the original in Port Royal) for a great, casual seafood dinner. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, I'd recommend Wren without a doubt! Plums is a fantastic lunch spot! All three of these are in Beaufort.
