weekend

It's Monday already and I'm feeling refreshed and ready to tackle this week.  I've moved the last of my things to the Beaufort area and will start commuting every day to Charleston for work until the end of January.  Woo!  This is going to take a lot of coffee.  And sleep.

Friday night was spent with some of the best girls.  We feasted on delicious sushi and, surprisingly enough to me, stayed out late enough to shut down the bars!  This is a sad and exciting accomplishment for me these days.  We had a great time.

The rest of my weekend was very low key with Brandon.   Just what we needed.  We watched three (yes, three) Netflix movies on Saturday night - Paradise, Drinking Buddies, and I Give It a Year - all so different from each other, but enjoyable!  We took the boat out on Sunday and attempted to catch some fish but ended up only catching some fresh air and sunshine instead.  Hey, that's alright by me.  It was so beautiful ...about 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

That's all I've got for today.  Enjoy the week ahead...  here's to making it a good one!  Xo-M

  3. Ha, shutting down a bar is a big accomplishment for me these days, also. So funny how in college you didn't even go out until 10 or 11pm. :) Glad you're all moved in and can get settled now!

  5. So funny about closing the bar down! I feel as we get older, we tend to have more low key weekends filled with Netflix and catching up on TV shows! Funny!
