ASOS scores

I place ASOS orders pretty often, but to be completely honest, most of it always goes back.  They are so hit and miss.  It's hard to shop at a store that carries so many different brands and doesn't have a physical shop!  But this time - this one.rare.occasion - everything was a hit.  Well, I'm here to share!

This skirt.  Oh, how I love it.  Comfortable and inexpensive.
Sizing tip: For reference, I usually wear a 2, sometimes a 4, in most brands.  At ASOS, I typically always order a 6 (their sizing is funny).  But this skirt is a 4 at ASOS (everything else listed below is a 6).  I figured that the elastic waist would make it run large.  I was right!
I'm also loving this top.  It is only $13!  I love the inward cut on the arms.  This is the perfect top for tucking into skirts because it's not too long and it has a form fitting silhouette.

This dress is beyond perfect for any occasion ...a wedding, work, date night -the list goes on.  In real life, I would style it with a black leather jacket, black or burgundy tights, and black booties.  Or with wedges this time of year!

The fit of this shirt is so good.  This color of orange is my fave.  Sure to be worn to a Clemson game this season!

This faux leather skirt looks like the real deal, except it was only $42!

I absolutely love an oversized jacket.  This kimono is soft, lightweight and perfectly drapes across your shoulders.  I have one very similar and it's amazing the things you can pair it with.
These leather-look pants are an awesome fit for the price tag.  Plus, they have enough stretch and a high enough rise to make you feel comfortable.

Just had to share the goods!

  2. I love that burgundy skirt. I am so ready to pull out the burgundy again for fall. I found a maxi skirt in burgundy at Ross the other day...such a score! That black tank is being purchased right away! Great finds, and as always, you look beautiful!

  3. Wow looks like I need to be shopping at ASOS more often! I just hate ordering something and getting so excited about it coming in the mail and it not fitting! And I have to say for being a Clemson fan you sure did get a lot of garnet and black ;)

  5. I purchased a maroon skirt so similar to yours I had to click to see the link to see if it was the same one I got! (it's not mine doesn't have the elastic waste band) I am all over the place with sizing at ASOS too!

Where is your belt from that you paired the skirt and black top with?

  8. so great that ASOS is now in the US! I moved to the UK from the States four years ago and they've been a wardrobe staple since then. A note on the sizing - I'm not sure if this is actually the case on the US site but stuff could be weird sizes because it's UK sizing? If that's the case, UK sizes are roughly 2 sizes up from your US size (so you'd be right in ordering a 6 if you're usually a 2 or 4 in the US, I'm usually a US 4 or 6 and order a 10 here). Just a thought, might help other ladies if they're stuck on sizes! x

  11. Great choices, I do love that leather skirt and the printed blouse, they'll be great for A/W. It might be that as asos is a UK company, it's UK sizing rather than us sizing, so that could be why you have to order a different size because a US size 2 is a UK size 6. I do find that here in england their sizes run quite large, especially the elasticated styles.
