having a moment

I'm having a serious moment in the world of calm, earthy, simple, slightly rustic-meets-coastal interiors.  I might attribute it to my latest trips to Ooh! Events (my wedding coordinator/florist/rental company) and Elizabeth Stuart Design.  Everything in those places is just... right.  I'm loving the mix of simplicity with little trinkets and cozy touches.  Lots of candles, natural elements and great textures.  Soothing colors like white, gray, and ash-toned creams.

    Girrrrl... I've been stuck in the same "moment" for years now. The hints of earthiness really bring it home for me. How can one not love blooming branches?

    I just helped decorate a "wood and lace" wedding. I thought it was so beautiful to add big chunky wood things to delicate candles and flowers. Totally feeling this vibe right now!
