Well, it happened. I hit my maximum quota in Blogger photos. It's time to pick out a larger storage plan. Before I do that, I have to ask if anyone knows any tricks to uploading photos to Blogger without paying for a larger quota?
Since you last heard from me, I've been working LATE hours and enjoying my new baby kitty. I for one am glad it's almost the weekend because I'm craving a late morning in PJs and a cup of coffee.
Hopefully this little ol blog will be back in commission SOON.
Love y'all!
I have heard about a lot of people having probs with their pics and someone suggested making your photos no larger than 800x800. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe that will help?? :)
ReplyDeleteFunny timing, a friend of mine just posted a how-to for this today!

And Winston is the cutest, sweetest little thing. Enjoy every second while he's tiny! They grow up too fast!
i use (and love!) shutterfly! works easily and is free!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis happened to me today! I uploaded to tinypic and then copied the url! So simple! Xo
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know this max existed. I'll keep it in mind. xo
ReplyDeleteDearest Megs Blogger aka google is really trying hard to make some MONEY off of all of us bloggers...You don't find it funny that TONS of bloggers mysteriously have hit their quota of photos this month? HMMMM sounds fishy to me! :) I just blogged about this LAST WEEK and how I was seriously going to quit blogger if they were going to make me pay! I just upload all photos to photobucket and link the URL (in blogger when you click that pictures upload button there is an option on the side that says upload picture from URL and that's what I'm doing to bypass paying google anything!)
ReplyDeleteOkay seems like 1/2 off all the blogs I read have had this happen in the past week...seems really strange so many are reaching the limit at the same time ?!
ReplyDeleteIt happened to me recently too! You have unlimited photo uploads as long as the file is less than 800X800 (as Whitney already mentioned). Just edit the file size of your pics so none of the dimensions are larger than 800pixles. Works like a charm :)
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem, so I uploaded to Flickr and pasted the HTML code in my Blogger post. Worked like a charm, and the pictures are bigger!
ReplyDeleteYep me too. Photo bucket account. Paste the direct link code into the URL option under upload photo. Extra step but free:)
ReplyDeleteI made the big switch to Wordpress. So far so good. I hate that it did that to ya. PAIN!!
