ok, ok...

...I can explain.
Well, really, all I've got for you is that I was super busy with work last week and I kind of just needed a blogger break.  I love when I have the time and creativity to post something different everyday, but there are definitely times when I need to concentrate on other things or simply don't have something worth posting.
But, I'm back now and ready for a full week of SMS posts!

OOTD:
I'm loving this blazer I found for a whopping $25 at Forever 21.  It's a blush/cream color... perfect for this time of year.  I like it better than my more expensive blazers in terms of fit and quality.  Sometimes, very far and few between, F21 really surprises me.
I paired the blazer with a Tinley Road black top, black jeggings/leggings from Urban Outfitters from last year,  Banana Republic leather boots, and my J. Crew mini bubble necklace.

I received my Moon and Lola monogram acrylic necklace from Petal Boutique.  It's so much better than I even imagined!  I love the pop of color.

If you are still toying around with the idea of purchasing a faux fur vest, I have found the mother of all flattering vests at Banana Republic.  I didn't buy it (but was really, really tempted) because I already own one that is very similar.  This vest is long and lightweight.  It also has little pull-ties inside so that you can make it fit your waist better.  It's seriously the most flattering fur vest I've tried and I didn't want to take it off.

When I got home from Banana Republic, I was inspired to pair the same outfit with my own vest for a birthday party for my MOH.  By the way, this blouse is Michael Kors.

Another way to rock the fur vest.  Obsessed with every part of this outfit.

One last highlight of the weekend...
Street food! --Goodies from Caviar & Bananas during "Second Sunday" on King Street.
(King St. is closed to traffic every second Sunday.  Restaurants set out their tables on the streets, vendors sell goodies like these, there are street performers, special sales at the King St. stores.  Doggies everywhere.  SO FUN!)

Happy, happy Monday.  I was given today off in observance of Veterans Day.  Now that is a good Monday.

    1. I'm sorry, I don't remember the style! I bought them over three years ago and they keep getting better and better. Banana used to make their boots so much better than they do now!

  8. Banana Republic is an awesome store. If you know somebody working there, you can get a friends and family 50% off invitation to shop. They run this a couple of times per year. I loved the fur jacket on you with red top inside. Cool!
