These are a few of my favorite things {part 2)

It has been quite a while since I did the first installment of this series, but here are a few more items to add to the "favorites" pile!

1.  Nars Blush in Gaiety: This is a cool-toned, pink blush that completely brightens up a complexion!  It's somewhat frightening in the pan, but looks incredibly natural on the skin.  After making my blush rounds through the cosmetic counters (so to speak), I've decided that Nars has incomparable quality.  It lasts long, applies beautifully, and has pretty packaging! (Always a plus!) I purchased it about a month ago and have been using it almost every day, along with my next favorite...

2. Nars Blush in Orgasm (I hate that they chose this name!): I've purchased this before, but was less than thrilled.  However, I've recently come back to it and can't understand how I ever passed it up.  This is the prettiest coral shade, with more peachy/golden tones than pinks.  It gives you a subtle sunkissed glow & should absolutely be a staple in every girl's makeup bag!

3.  Benefit Hoola: I've tried a TON of bronzers.  Estee Lauder, Nars, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Clinique, Lancome, Chanel, Smashbox, Too Faced ...I can go on and on.  This is by far my favorite.  It's the perfect shade for my skin in which to add contour.  I place it under my cheekbones, along my jawline, on my temples ...then kind of, well, blend it a bit all over where the sun naturally hits my face.  I hate the bulkier packaging, but the truth is that I feel like a puffy fish-face without it.  Plus, it's a better value than other brands at $28 for .40oz.

Xo.

  3. Nars Orgasm is my favorite too. And I, as well, hate the name. And I'm in the market for a new bronzer, so I may have to try the Benefit Hoola :) Thanks for the suggestion!
