The Friday Five

Gold Buttons
This photo has inspired me to revamp my boring blazers with chunky gold buttons.

The Bachelor
I have to say, I'm not super crazy over Mr. Ben.  He's growing on me, but when I found out that he was going to be the Bachelor, I immediately was disappointed.  Maybe I'll end up liking him within the next few episodes.
But then, I heard a very official rumor that Emily Maynard is going to be the next Bachelorette, which will start filming in March.  Fingers crossed!
She is insanely gorgeous & has the best style -I would watch for those reasons alone!

This advice.
simply put & incredibly true.

I bought this at Ulta last week.  It's a fabulous base coat because it not only fills in ridges, but it has the slightest tint of beige to camoflauge imperfections -like foundation for your face.  It dries silky, but matte, so it's wonderful for women who don't like wearing nail polish, but want manicured nails.
I used it before painting my nails with Essie Ladylike and found that it made my nails look more "gel-like."  The polish spread so much more evenly on my nails.  Even though it's expensive for a base-coat, I would definitely say that it's worth it!

Obsessed with Stella & Dot's new spring collection.
Here are some pieces that I have my eyes on...

Happy weekend!

  1. I'm really hoping Emily is the next Bachelorette! I adore her and she is the epitome of a true southern belle. I'm totally with you though...Ben is not my fav. Seems like a nice guy but I may not be tuning in on a regular basis. Love those necklaces! Have a great weekend, xoxo

  8. Ben isn't my favor either. I mean he's a nice guy. But I wasn't crazy about Ashley either and now him. But if Emily is next. It will totally make up for it! How official was this rumor? I need to know how excited to get :-)

  16. Totally agree about Ben. I don't love him but I do love watching all the crazy girls on the show! I saw Emily in Charlotte while I was home over Christmas. She was so tiny and I must say was wearing so much make-up it aged her. Still totally cute though. The Poole Shop and Capital did her wardrobe during the Bachelor so hopefully they will do it again because they have some amazing things! Love that nailpolish color!
