babble.

Hello sweethearts!
No, I have not forgotten about you.
Neglected you? ...err, maybe.

Has this four day week thrown anyone else off?
Not only am I one day behind, but this is also getting to be the busiest time of the year at work.
I know I'm busy because I usually leave all work-thoughts at the office.  Now, I have found myself thinking about work as I'm trying to go to bed.

At this point, I don't have clear thoughts for a blog post.
It's about time for a random babble of whatever comes to my mind.
Haven't done that in a while and you know what? It's good for my soul.

First.
I got my hair done today!
I. am. blonde ...er.
...& I love it!

There truly is no better feeling that getting your hair done, no?
Hair is one of the first things I see when I glance at someone.
When my hair is off, I am off.

...and for those of you who may ask, the necklace is from a local boutique (doesn't have the name brand listed on it anywhere), my off-white blazer is LC Lauren Conrad, and my cat eye sunnies in the first picture are Prada SPR24N in black.

Second.
Saw Kori's post about red lips and nails, which makes me want to rush home & paint my nails red ASAP.

Third.
Has anyone else had problems ordering from ASOS before?

I ordered a few things and was told it would arrive on Tuesday.
As in, the Tuesday that just passed.

I gave it until today to call for a tracking update (online tracking wasn't working).
My response from ASOS was, "Sorry to hear that.  I have issued you a replacement, although one of your items is no longer available."

woah, woah woah.
The whole reason I placed the order was for that one particular item that is no longer available.
Where is my order?  I got a shipment confirmation saying it was shipped out to me.

I want my original order and that adorbs scalloped dress I ordered.  Yes, the one that is now no longer in stock because it's so darn cute.
I don't want your replacement.
Thank ya kindly, but no ma'am.

Fourth.
We are heading to God's Country, a.k.a. Clemson, SC, this weekend for the Wofford game.

Some may say that Clemson's colors are awful (orange and purple), but I say they're wrong.

I saw this dress on Pinterest and have decided that I must know who makes it.

It would be perfect for the game.

...although, so would my orange scalloped dress from ASOS, which was supposed to be here in time for the game, but I don't have that either.

Fifth.
To end on a lighter note...

I feel for all of those who are having rainy days & stormy weather.

Charleston has been to die for.
The mornings are in the 60s and the afternoons in the 70s/80s.

Makes me want to find a great porch & just sit all afternoon with a good book.

Taking a half-day at work tomorrow, so I won't lie ... you probably won't hear from me again until Monday.
We will be busy cheering on those Tigers this weekend.

Xo.

P.S. - Should have said this first, but I'd like to thank all of you bloggies for the sweet comments on my Daddy/Daughter post.  Too sweet for words!
He enjoyed the spotlight. :)

  18. I love the new hair! I hate when mine isn't done. I feel like crap!! And this summer I had a similar thing happen with Vineyard Vines. I was sooo mad because I ordered the dress as soon as a sale started, then weeks later they tried to tell me it was sold out. So frustrating!! I hope you get your dress!
