easy updo, explained!

After my honeymoon, a ton of you asked me how I did this updo.
...and I promised I would explain how.

Well, I made a little video on how to do it, but then decided I didn't like the video.  So there's that.  
But thanks to The Everygirl, they explained it for me.  Check out this post on how to do the style you see above... plus many other adorable hairstyles that I'm going to be practicing myself (as best as I can with short hair, anyway).
