It's my party & I'll cry if I want to...



It's my birthday!

This picture was taken on my first birthday. 
See how much I loved my birthday cake? Not much has changed.

So far on my birthday...

...I was awoken with beautiful hydrangeas, my favorite flower of all.


...I took a bubble bath this morning instead of a shower, just because I felt like it.
Which, by the way, sounds better than it actually is because it made me want to fall back to sleep.
(Which I've done. In the bathtub. When I was a young girl. It wasn't good. Different story, different day ...hee hee)


...I bought a scratch-off lotto ticket, just to test my birthday luck.  Won my two dollars back though!

...I've stretched my birthday out as much as possible.  Brandon and I went to O-ku for sushi on Monday night.  Last night, I had a big joint birthday dinner yesterday with Ashton at Soulshine (who had a birthday on Monday) and our friends ...we went to Taco Boy, a super fun mexican restaurant downtown.  Tonight, my parents are coming to Charleston to take me to dinner.  I'm wondering how I can stretch this out to Thursday, too :)

...My boss brought me beautiful kalanchoe flowers & a birthday balloon. So sweet!

...I ate nachos for breakfast, because it's my birthday and hey, I'll do what I want!

    Happy Birthday! It's my mom's birthday today too! Sounds like your birthday (week!) is off to a great start. If I were there, I'd totally make the sacrifice (ha!) and take you out on Thursday to extend your celebration a little further.
