weekend

We had a blast in Edisto over the holiday weekend. If you haven't been there before, it's definitely worth the trip. Edisto is a secluded island about 45 minutes from Charleston. There's one teeny grocery store, a handful of restaurants, and the most laid back people you've ever met. If you're on Edisto, you're there to relax. And that's just what we did.

To paint the picture for you, here's a post office right outside Edisto. It's so tiny and cute! Got to love the hand painted letters.

We got there on Friday morning and immediately posted up on the beach. This is my friend, Cody, who recently got married to our friend, Drew (remember?).
Brandon had to drink PBR because ...you know, that's ah-murican.
My favorite part of being in Edisto is coming in all sticky off the beach, taking a shower, and then sitting on the deck in a rocking chair with a glass of vino. With no makeup and wet hair. Ahh... so relaxing!

Saturday wasn't as pretty of a beach day, but man it made for a gorgeous evening on the boat.
(Brandon was taking the picture...)

No filter on these photos below. The sunset was UNREAL!

It was sad to leave great friends and such a beautiful place. Until next time, Edisto!
