Ahh... back home and currently trying to get back on a normal sleep schedule and routine. We had an amazing time in LA for Ryan's bachelorette party. We did almost everything we had on our wish list. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen a lot of these photos.
After arrival on Thursday, we popped the champagne and got ready for dinner at Don Antonio's. Remember how Heidi and Spencer used to go there all the time on The Hills? We even sat in their (current) table of choice. Even though we aren't Speidi "fans," it was pretty darn cool. Later, we went out at Bar Marmont. We tried to get in to the Chateau, but surprise surprise.. we couldn't. We did hear that Joanna Krupa from RHOM and Rod Stewart were in there. Soo close!
On Friday, we ate brunch at Urth Caffe and shopped a little on Melrose. Then, we went to Hollywood & Highlands and did more shopping. Later, we went to The Grove to shop around some more. Notice a theme?
Then Friday night came and we had to get ready for our reservations at Sur. This was, by far, one of the main highlights of our trip. They treated us amazing and put us in our own private room! The food was ridiculous, too, which I didn't expect. We met Jax and saw Stassi, but no Lisa. :(
Actually, Jax took this first photo of us girls below. Afterwards, we went to The Abbey in West Hollywood and I met Drew from the Bachelorette!
On Saturday, we had lunch at The Ivy. We were all so impressed with the abundance of fresh roses and of course, the complimentary champagne. We shopped on Robertson and Rodeo Drive, then went to the Beverly Wilshire (Pretty Woman hotel) for a cocktail. I had to take a picture of the Harry Winston storefront since I named my kitty boy, Winston, after him. Saturday night was spent at The Hollywood Men, Supper Club, and Emerson, a new club in Hollywood.
Sunday, we made the short drive to Manhattan Beach and I got to stick my feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time! I was so impressed with MB... so many families riding bikes and walking along the beach. The houses were adorable, each one completely unique from it's neighbor.
You can't get the full effect from the photo, but this one was like stepping into a Pottery Barn catalog. The patio furniture set up off to the right was amazing. There were ivory and blush roses growing all along the picket fence. Oh, and the two dogs (you can only see one) sitting outside. Amazingness.
Later, we set off on a sunset hike at Runyon Canyon.
We tried In-N-Out Burger on Saturday night and then hit up a little piano bar. All to get 1.5hrs of sleep and wake up to catch our flight back home. I'm still recovering from the lack of sleep and time change!
It was an awesome trip and opportunity to cross a lot of things off my bucket list with some of my favorite girls. Hope you all had happy Labor Day weekends!
Wow, what an amazing trip!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!

that sounds like such an amazing trip! LOVE that you went to Sur!! Would have been so fun to see Lisa, but Jax & Stassi are a close second ;) Could you tell if they were still together?
ReplyDeleteMeredith... we asked! He said they are not in a good place right now, but he will always love her.
ReplyDeleteSo, what did you think of In N Out??
ReplyDeleteStassi is dating the host from my favorite radio show on Cosmo Radio (Sirius) -- Cocktails with Patrick. What were your impressions of Stassi. He has had her on his show and she sounds more normal than she was portrayed on the show.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing trip, I am so JEALOUS you met Drew from the Bachelrette, he was one of my favorites on the show!!!
ReplyDeleteXo,
Sincerely Miss Ash
