First of all, Happy Veteran's Day!

My thanks go to all who have served our country or are currently serving. 

Also, prayers and thanks go out to all of you who have a soldier in your family, because I know that it's a difficult service in its own to have someone you love that is away on duty.

On another note, I'm also thankful to have the day off!

Well, I will be working from home voluntarily, but gosh, it's nice to start my day with this (at 9am, rather than 7am, no less!)...

My best friend since seventh grade is coming to Charleston tonight! 

She moved up north a couple years ago, so we hardly get to see each other anymore. 

Super excited for a fun weekend and lots of laughs with her.
